We partner with employers, schools, associations, and agencies that share our commitment to practical safety. Interested in collaborating or sponsoring an event? We’d like to talk.

About DSN

It all began in July 2024 with a group of people who had big ideas about how to connect safety stakeholders in central North Dakota, including the Bis-Man area.

Who we are

Dakota Safety Network is a volunteer-driven association focused on practical safety education for North Dakota. We share trusted resources, host learning sessions, and connect people who want safer homes, schools, farms, and workplaces. Our goal is simple: help people make good, real-world safety decisions without adding extra noise.

Our mission

Make safety simple, accessible, and effective for the communities we live and work in.

Our story

DSN started when local safety-minded professionals and community members saw the same problem from different angles. Information was scattered. Small teams and everyday folks did not always know where to start. We formed a network to pull clear guidance into one place, offer short learning sessions, and make it easier to ask questions and get straight answers.

Who we serve

  • Safety professionals and EHS leads

  • Business owners, supervisors, and foremen

  • Educators and school staff

  • Farmers, ranchers, and ag workers

  • DIY community members and volunteers
If you’re responsible for people or places, you’re in the right spot.

What we do

  • Quarterly member meetings with a focused EHS topic and guest speaker

  • Special events and demos throughout the year

  • A growing resource hub with checklists, links, and “safety minute” tips

  • A local network you can contact when you need ideas, tools, or referrals

  • Member updates with reminders and new opportunities

How we work

We keep things practical and local. We curate proven guidance, invite subject-matter experts, and share tools people can use the same day. We rely on member feedback to set topics. We publish short, clear content. We value partnerships that help more people get the basics right.
